This Tahkli (Style) Support Spindle is made with two hard to find uncirculated 1972 West Africa States 25 Franc (Aluminum Bronze) Coins that have been tinted dark bronze and lathe turned to remove the tint on the high-relief design and coated in a protective layer of epoxy resin top-coat finish. The two coins are mounted to two gold plated alloy filigree pendants that have been flattened and laminated together and there are 8 Topaz-AB Swarovski crystal rhinestones mounted to each side of it to make a gorgeous and sparkling whorl. The whorl is mounted to one of my signature Black-Gold (Gloss black with gold metal flake) Steel Shafts and there are 8 gold and silver plated findings mounted to the shaft above and below the whorl. These are great medium weight support spindles for spinning cotton, short staple fibers, and finer long staple fibers for a fast and long spin.
