1930's Art Deco - Vintage Timepiece (aka: Steampunk) Tibetan Style Support Spindle No.107

This is the Larger Diameter (of the 2 that I make) Shaft = .137" (3.5mm) in Black-Gold

Made from a total of 20 individual pieces - the centerpiece of this Tibetan Style Support Spindle is a 1930's (USA Made) Ingersol "Sentinel" Art-Deco style pocket watch front (half hunter style) pocket watch bezel. This bezel, along with two vintage brass clock gears with cogs, stainless steel pendant, two milled acrylic discs, and a matching size nickel plated bezel are all laminated together and filled with 2-part epoxy resin to form the whorl. It is then mounted to a Black-Gold Steel Shaft and finished off with stainless steel hex nuts and gold plated findings. The whorl is perfectly balanced by using a mix of antique watch gears and wheels and one light Siam Swarovski crystal rhinestone (bottom side) that is also encased in the epoxy resin.

All components are mounted to one of my signature Black-Gold powder-coat painted high-carbon spring steel shafts with a heat forged hook by using industrial quality 2-part epoxy glue. This is a very unique and heavier rim-weighted support spindle that has an amazing spin that will work on pretty much any fiber you can whirl on it :-).
