Made to last a lifetime, this hand made bowl that is just the right size and shape for supported spinning, and the included base makes it very stable for use on a flat surface or display. This Himalayan singing bowl is made from solid brass and is hand-crafted in the traditional hand-hammered technique in Kathmandu, Nepal. No two bowls are alike and they all produce a lovely chime when your spindle taps the edge of the bowl - even when used in the wood ring base!
Bowl sizes range in sizes from 2.6" (Small) to just over 3.1" (large) - so you can specify the size you would like by clicking the drop down before adding the bowl and base to your cart. INCLUDES a colorful cotton drawstring travel pouch/bag to conveniently store or travel with the bowl and base.
SMALL BOWL: 2.6" (66mm) average diameter

WEIGHT: Bowl and Base = 3oz. to 4oz. (85g to 115g)
IMPORTANT: Spinning Surface (Inside Bowl) WILL DULL/SCRATCH with use and develop its own unique patina over time. The bowl comes polished and it can be re-polished with any brass cleaner/polish, or it can be left to develop a rich deep patina color.
WOOD RING BASE: This is a Natural Birch Wood ring that has the bottom and top sides sanded flat and drilled to recess 3 silicone rubber bumpers into it, which provides the bowl with a stable surface to spin from, or display. The base is finished with an orange oil/Carnuba wax finish and can be re-oiled with any furniture oil to rehydrate it if needed.
